Just anxious to hear about them. The reason I have been waiting for them is they are 20% lighter than their competition, the Bridgestones and the Dunlops. And cheaper. Hope they match up. I'll probably go with just fronts now as I'm starting a business and am on a tight budget.

They are very light. I have an unshaved set I just put on, but I have not driven with them yet. (STS2-ish CRX)

My autox buddies say they are great, possibly as good as the bridgestones, but I'm betting it depends on getting your car set up around them and getting used to them.

I've also heard they handle the heat of a road course pretty well, which is why I got these for track days and daily driving. My bridgestones will be for autox only.

I'll try to post an update after a month.

I was just about ready to bite the bullet on a set this week, but ended up buying another set of Azenis only because I hadn't seen any reviews for them. I might try the Kumhos the next time around once I go through these Falkens.

The good news about the Falkens is that they were nearly $50 a tire cheaper than the last time I bought a set.

Haven't seen enough about them. In for more info.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting a set of 195-55-15 Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1's in the spring.

I dont have photos, but the 205/50 XS looks jut a teeny bit wider in the bulge than a 195/50 bridgestone, both on 7" wheels.

you'll love them sidewall height kind of sucks but other than that not one complaint out of me.

I'm currently running a 205-50-15 ES100. the 195-55 sidewall is maybe 1/4" taller, so I'm not too worried. I've also read that the contact patch on the Z1 is pretty wide for a 195.

Glad to hear you like yours.

The tire rack kumho xs page has a review from someone with an 88 540i that mentions autos and an upcoming track day so ... Also I'm interested to see how they do since they actually make a size that's same as stock for my MS3 (well, close, 235/40-18)

I just got a set before the cold weather set in--245/35/18 and 275/35/18--and haven't had a chance to drive even on the street. They may be llighter than the Azenis but are heavier than the PS2's we've been using. Can't wait for the weather break to try them out.

(Tire Rack) Initial Review, 500 Miles on Tires December 18, 2008

This is the 4th tire brand I have used for Street Touring. Started with the Azenis 615's, moved to the Stones RE01R, Dunlops Z1 Starspec, now Kuhmo. Have not tracked the tire yet, but overall grip levels are on par with the Stones and Dunlops. Sidewall stiffness is more along the lines of the Stones which is on the soft side...Highly recommend!
