Sounds about right.

I would take the Jag. Looks really gorgeous, especially in the grayish blue or British Racing Green. But is it wrong that I want to build one with an 8-71 blower painted body color and sticking through the hood?

Why in the world would you replace that awesome V12 with a BMW engine? I can understand swapping to a manual though.

Not all had the 12... the 12 I would not touch.. though I would probably rip out the injection and go Megasquirt to make it smoother running, cleaner, and more powerful

Aw, HELL No!
1970s Germany?
BMW E9 to 1975:
BMW E24 to the end of the decade.

Have you ever seen or driven one of those? The back seat is a joke even by Italian standards. I'm 5'-10" tall, and with the seat in my driving position, there was a 1" gap for the rear passenger's legs to fit in.
Pretty, though.
I'll take a Jag XJ-SC please. The best of both. XJS looks with Jag 6-cyl & 5-speed manual trans.
But the V-12 rumble is addicting though.
That's so cool that I had to look it up. I think you may have hotlinked the best looking example of the breed.
