Qualifying was today, Toyota is on top with Glickenhaus topping night practice. Last year all the hypercars finished in the top spots and Glick is looking to improve on last year's 4th and 5th overall.
Penske has a car in LMP2 to practice for next year's Porsche LMDh car.
Michael Fassbender wiped out and the team is rebuilding the car.
Been listening on the WEC app. Quali was really crazy with the rain on parts of the circuit. Getting ready for FP3
I raced against Michael in Champcar at the 24 of Nelson ledges. I am looking for youtube streams as I don't have motortrend.

You can stream audio on the WEC app (renamed 24H LeMans for the race) but no video here because of the deal with Discovery. Maybe try a VPN?

The VPN/discovery issue is why so many of us aborted MTOD. I haven't looked back. Good riddance.

Looks good. I know LMDh is essentially DPi + hybrid drive but it's nice to see the bodywork inching away from their LMP2 base.

I used the free trial for MotorTrend last year to watch. Perhaps Nascar being in the game next year will open up the coverage and stations.
I have commandeered the living room for the weekend, can't wait. I am sad that this is the last race for the GT Pro cars.

Looks like someone didn't get the memo that you can't win a 24 hour race in the first few corners. Not even a lap in, and it seems that more than one team's race is over.
The ACO timed their stream nukes well, this one on twitch is up and in english.
No BMW, Mercedes or Audi in the lower GT3 based categories. Next year should be more interesting with some more variety at the top and hopefully throughout the rest of the field.

The ACO has slightly different rules for GTE versus FIA's GT3, but basically, they're the same car.
Commercials on Motortrend are a consistent loop of a standalone ER, IKEA, and an HIV prescription drug.
I'll take them over repetitive commercials for MTOD wrenching shows, but not even any Toyota commercials?
