It's a little rustier than that pic shows. It was purchased at the bottom of the useable price range. The gate will be replaced and it has a number of issues that I can pick out of that pic but I am happy with the purchase!

Yeah, I would just machine the center bore. Before I get to wheels I think any maintenance will be sorted.

I drove the wife's E39 in to work today and was reminded what a terrific q ship this car is. A Touring is in the cards if this sedan ever needs to be replaced.
Now is the time to buy. They are at the bottom of the market on useable ones. I payed 5k for that one with records. They are at the age that less will have a definable ownership path. I hope this car doesn't become the moneypit that my M5 was.

Thanks, I love it. I just filled the tank for the first time and averaged 29mpg. I doubt I will see that for ever but...still.
So today after ten thousand miles I hydroplaned off the road in a rain storm backwards and probably totaled it out. We will see what the insurance company says but I guess I am on the lookout for another one.

Ripped the trunk floor apart. Pretty impressive hit.
That front wheel isn't supposed to be in that position.
That sucks, but glad to hear you're ok.
As a side note, the E30 guys would be drooling over it for an M50 swap.
Front suspension actually broke in half, and I am fine. Crazy amount of force though to shear off the thrust arm and rip the rear floor pan. First accident I have been in since 1996, and I drive 35-40K a year so I thank God.

Sucks but I'm glad you're ok. Did the head airbags go off? On my iPhone at least it looks like a deflated one hangin on the passenger side.
Only the pass side curtain and door bags went off. I read in the Bentley that it is predicated by where someone is sitting in relation to the impact. My briefcase and work boots were on the passengers seat so it must have thought someone was occupying that seat. Or those are just the ones that worked, haha.

530it is a unicorn. Tourings only came in 528, 525, and 540 flavors in the U.S.
