Please learn me fuel inertia switch. Are they mechanically or electic? Car is a 01 hyundai gx 300L. How can I tell if that switch is bad? Where does the switch like to hides? My googefu has failed me.

Mechanical. Usually somewhere in the trunk and looks like a big push button, at least the Ford Mustang unit I use does. Test with a continuity tester; "reset" = closed. Tip or shake it will cause it to go open.
I've never seen an inertia switch in anything other than a Ford.
