I just bought a mazda 323 for $350, and I want to learn what a hot daily driver/ autocross suspension setup would be. I've bought eBay coilover sleeves, and heard that camber plates from a rx7 will fit? Keeping in mind it's a $350 car, what junkyard sway bars, ect should I buy?
I don't think rx7 plates fit. If they do, that'd be a first i'd heard.
Sway bars... Escort GT units. Escort ZX2 tubular rear trailing arms are stronger and should bolt on as well.
For poly bushings, you want an Escort ZX2 kit. They're cheap. I actually have a set around that was on our car for maybe 5k miles, minus the hub end of the rear trailing arms if you'd be interested in that.
As for coils.... Jim Pierce has Ksports that he worked with specifically for this chassis, not the normal milquetoast fare. Not dirt cheap, but good bang for buck.
Escort GT rear brake setup should be easy bolt on.
Not sure what the best off the shelf struts are for that if you want to use the ebay sleeves. Probably koni reds. (Mx3)
I should also have front and rear strut tower braces if you'd want those. Shoot me a message if you want any of it.

Since you mentioned junkyard parts sourcing, you could go with the front lower control arms and steering rack from an MX-3 GS. It widens the front track, adds static negative camber, and the rack is quicker. The rear lower tie bar from the MX-3 will fit as well.
+1 with what Swank said. Jim Pierce makes all sorts of bits for it as well, subframes, arms and links. Ground control makes coilover sleeves as well. Not handling related, but get a set of MX-3 front seats. Also not handling related, but the dohc BP 1.8L motor is the easiest engine swap ever.
Any Mazda BG stuff should work--Protege/MX3/323/Escort/ZX2 etc.
The ZX2 will have the biggest front bar (25mm/1"). The Escort GT, Protege LX (1.8 DOHC), and 91-96 Escort Wagons had a 21mm solid bar, regular 91-97 Escorts had a 19mm hollow RSB. 98+ Escorts/Zx2s used spaghetti for rear sway bars--not worth looking at.
For the sleeves, I think the Koni reds (MX3 part) are discontinued. Corksport used to sell them. KYB makes a GR2 or whatever...that might work with 250F/200R or so, but not much more. Try for about a 1.2:1 F/R ratio on spring rates.
The KSport RR series coilover is decent, but only single adjustable (bump and rebound simultaneously). BC also makes similar stuff. Justin Barbry has a set of custom 'Advanced Design' DA Coilovers that I believe he is looking to sell...might look him up on FB. His 323 is the bomb.
We use custom Ceika DA remote reservoir coilovers on the ZX2 with 12kg/10kg rates...it still leans a small bit. Also have custom 24mm FSB and custom 3-way 24mm RSB.
Awesome guys there's some great information here!
That black 323 is just awesome!
