I know this is going to sound like the oddest learn me threaded ever. I need to know what or how I should stitch a patch into the head rest of my cloth Recaro seats. Does anybody have any videos or suggestions on how to even do this, I know absolutely zero about sewing. Should I glue it?

Looking at 3m scotch-weld. Seems to be pretty good stuff and simple to use.

You would have to hand stitch it with a curved upholstery needle. I have done it to put patches on clothing but, it is a rather tedious process.

Why not take the cover off, fix it, then put it back on? You could even incorporate the patch as a pattern or custom letters or something.

Is this a repair, or are you adding a patch for decoration? I agree that the best thing will be to remove the cover.

It's not a repair, It's decoration. But the angle, the material, and the fact I have no access to behind the fabric make it all difficult. Taking the headrest material off is a royal PITA. It requires complete disassembly of the entire seat. That's why I'm currently leaning toward a fabric glue spray.
