Can someone there go check to make sure the laws of physics are not being violated? I would hate for the universe to impload because of a GRM event.

pretty sure the length of the nose of that car corrected any universe twisting that might have happened?
Update! Autocross and drags are in the books! Ed Malle is sitting in first, with a tiny edge over Georgia Tech Wreck Racing and Patrick in the Datsun. It'll all come down to the concours tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m.
Also, Andrew Nelson destroyed the record for the fastest drag run at any $2000 Challenge. This run was a 9.535-second blast, but he would eventually put down a 9.521-second run.

You mean I have to be back at the track at 10? Good thing I'm not a parking lot drinker.

Good luck! Your Datsun put down a well rounded performance. Congrats.
Only 1/3 cars went 15s or faster...does the field seem slow this year and more focused on autocross?

I’m at the track right now and don’t have that on hand. Might dig it out when we’re back in the office.
Just realized I haven't perused the forums since I got here. First challenge event, my first drag race ever last night. Got to drive in the Tire shootout. And meeting faces behind the names...

Thanks. Now I know how hard to kick myself for not making down with the Opel this year.
But it's been fun to watch from the sidelines. Thanks GRM for posting frequent updates.
Alright. The concours is over. The results are in. Winners will be announced at the banquet tonight at 7:00. We’ll be streaming it all live right here.

It, um, was used for nefarious things and was bought via police impound auction.
they dropped 550lbs out of it and in the process they found signs of its past life.

seems to be a growing theme in late-model challenge acquisition
Final results are posted! Thanks for following along, everyone. Hope to see even more of you out here next year!
