Still wondering why they moved this from Orlando where it's typically beautiful weather in December to....Indiana?
In reply to DirtyBird222 :
Good question. Before it moved back to Indy, another show, IMIS, was getting good turnouts of exhibitors and attendees. IMIS followed the PRI weekend - it was a chore for many exhibitors to do both. SEMA then bought them both and went with the location that was garnering a higher turnout at the time. The weather often stinks, but Indy's a central location, with a larger number within driving distance over Orlando.
It's been in Indy forever because of Indy car shops and NHRA. It only moved to Orlando because they tore down the dome stadium to build Lucas oil stadium.
It was in Columbus for a while in the mid 90's...

Hopefully see yall tomorrow for the day
It will be 82 this weekend in Orlando.
I guess if industry reps want to see all their industry rep friends, and nobody but industry rep friends, Indy is a good place to have it...

Love the blue BRE 510, the one that IRL is gone.
UTCC competitor Tracy Gaudu was named a Hoosier Hero.
When PRI was in Orlando, they had kart racing–like, real kart racing–in the parking lot. Always thought that was cool.
