Ok. Sounds like I am glad I didn't wait another year to go get one of these. It was on my list of things to consider for my next appliance car.
It's also hard to justify when I filled up yesterday at $2.29 for the cheap swill. Getting 30 on the hwy is just fine for me.
What goes down...must come up? Easy to justify when we get some relief, but it ain't gonna last forever. If nothing else, saves trips to the gas station. Any time I can reduce interaction with the general public is a win.
So, increased fashion results in some loss of function.
Fear not. Toyota pretty much now Hybrids everything. For more increase in function I think the Corolla Cross Hybrid might be the answer. Certainly the Rav4 Hybrid is a solid choice but the Corolla Cross is generally a 7/8ths Rav4.
If you're not familiar with the Corolla Cross it may be that like myself, you don't realize that it's not actually a Rav4 given that they have similar style cues.
Its 8/8ths of an older Rav4. Or 33/32nds
Interestingly, you can get the Prius powertrain in a Corolla for ~$24k so way way cheaper than the Prius trim GRM had.
Sadly, without a hatch, its still not super useful. I guess the reality of modern cars is hatch = SUV.

100% truth here. I would LOVE a modern hatch hybrid, or c segment wagon from Toyota. I don't much see it happening. So- it's back to the well. The one that interests me most now outside of the rx350h is the Toyota Crown Signia. That's another gorgeous creature.

So kinda like the old Lexus CT 200h or, should Toyota offer it, a Corolla Hatchback hybrid?
In reply to David S. Wallens :
Yep. It's huge and you can mostly see out of it.
