Looking for new rear leaf springs for a 63 thunderbird coupe. Goal is stock ride height as close to stock as possible.
Anyone have any experience with these two vendors Click and Click?
Any other recommendations?
Can an admin add "63 thunderbird" at the end of the title. Some reason everytime I post a thread the last two words in the title disappear
Ive used espo a few time with great reaults.
Never used either of the links
Currently running a mix of duster and Durango leafs in my duster. You may want to think about building a pack, or look around your area for leaf spring rebuilding. I have one here that will rearch and rebuild a pack dor about 125 each

If you have the originals our local spring shop will return them to original. They will also change them to do whatever you wish.
Richmond Spring, in, well Richmond, the VA one, is probably a bit closer than MN!
There will be cheaper options, but that'd be my easy button, from DC. They are top notch. Been there for as long as I can remember.
Probably options even closer, but that's the closest I can personally vouch for.
Probably have the part number for original , if needed, or can rebuild yours.

Hey, it's hard enough keeping up with where you are... I ain't gonna attempt your cars, and associations!

Pretty sure there will be a good spring shop in every major city. Construction tears the heck out of springs. Over the road trucks hit big pot holes etc.

That is exactly why I, although I live in AL, mentioned one I know is good, near where he lives
I'm sure he can find one closer than your local shop, even after I found out it's still in TX
I am aware, as I imagine most are, what potholes do to road trucks. Unsure what the relevance of that, in reply to me, might be. Or did you know you were replying to me? I did not really have a question, and I think I gave Y decent advice, when I assumed the car was in VA.

I like this option but $375 per side + installparts it makes it over a grand
I'll just second Frenchyd's suggestion about a spring shop. I'm not sure every city has one anymore, but there still are a lot of them because they are mainly servicing big trucks and semis. We get them done for MGs for around $200/pair.
My issue is there are only 3 leafs on each side. Stock was 5, dont ask me what happened because I dont know lol.

Your spring shop should still be able to add a leaf or two to your stack and arch them to whatever you need for ride height.
So, I'll 3rd using a local shop. It will probably be a good bit cheaper than buying new.
You'll need to log in to post.
