Can anybody point me in the right direction for a lightweight clutch and flywheel combo? Drivetrain was originally in a 2010 Camaro so its the LS3 engine and TR-6060 trans. The TR8 its in will weighs less than 2500 pounds, so I'm not as concerned about all the drawbacks a lightweight combo would have on a full weight Camaro.
The LS7 clutch seems to be the hot ticket right now for a more aggressive clutch with OEM driveability. It's what I'm running in my RX7 build. Check out Tick Performance or Scoggin Dickey, you should be able to find one with an aluminum flywheel for like $650 or so IIRC.
I just put the LS7 clutch setup into CTS V and really like it. Total oem feel while losing 25lbs over the dual setup and increasing clamping force. All in ~500 for oem parts.
