Yes, it does seem the definition has changed.
Original = restored to stock, minimal to no modifications, repaint in original color accepted, interior may be restored. Engine rebuild accepted. Suspension refresh expected.
Survivor = pretty much as it rolled out of the factory with minimal parts replaced as required for safe driving (maintenance & wear items). Paint and interior from the factory. Engine as from the factory. Suspension from the factor likely.

I'm glad to know that, but I don't like it. To me original means original, not restored. I would use the word restored for that.
