Nissan CD009 from a Z seems to be an increasingly common choice too, look into those also.

This is an odd choice to me, unless the trans is already in the chassis. An adapter is an easy 550, plus anywhere from 4-900 for the trans itself, you're not far off from a t56. But somehow it's an incredibly popular choice.

Luislsx, you're probably better off creating a new forum topic for your issue–the question is going to get lost in this old thread.

I paid $400 for my CD009, $300 for a LS6 clutch, flywheel and pressure plate, $600 for the adapter kit and clutch disc, and $150 for the LS1 bellhousing. So I have $1450 into my trans and clutch you can't buy a blown up T56 for that money and then you still need to buy a clutch.  I can buy a brand new CD009 from Nissan for $1600 if I have to in the future.  If I were to do another manual LS I would probably go with the Solstice/Colorado AR5 and the FabBot adapter kit.

I've been using an AR5 for the last year and half behind a LS3 making 480whp.  Total cost of the trans, bellhousing, adapter, and driveshaft was less than $1000.
