Saw this on FB, the owner of this build: Rally BMW
He was on his way to NEFR and the tow rig is clearly done. They are okay and got the car off the trailer and have continued on, but they could probably use some help to get it home.
So if there any GRM'ers in Maine that have access to a tow rig then maybe you can help out

Sounds like they got away with a couple of their tires, but lost others, helmets, and all their tools and such. So lend a hand if you're up at NEFR if you can!
Any word on WTF happened to cause the fire?
No, they're busy getting there. I'm sure Dan will chime in later. He bought that truck just a few weeks ago and it appeared to be in really nice condition. Based on the fact that the bed burned up and everything in it, I'm gonna guess a fuel leak somewhere in the back of the truck that burned its way to the front.

Nothing on FB or the news site where I grabbed the picture.
I've got a tow pig they could borrow, but I'm about an hour away from Franklin (in Stafford, CT), they're welcome to borrow it if they can get someone to get it up there. 2000 chevy 2500 turbo diesel, no AC though :(
