I am considering selling my Miata sometime this spring/summer. I have owned it about 5 years now and it has served me well but I think it is time to move on to something with some more space.
I am looking for some opinions on what kind of money I should be asking for it.
Details:
91 with 175k miles
Hardtop
Racing Beat springs and Tokico blue shocks
Rust in the typical rocker area
No carpet (still has parcel shelf carpet)
There was some surface rust on the drivers floor but I wire-wheeled it off and painted with POR-15.
Hood needs painted because the stock hood had a dent, front bumper cover has crack but I have a spare one the same color as the replacement hood.
It was painted in a garage about 4 years ago. Not the best paint job but it is a good 10-20 footer.
Autopower rollbar
Needs a new soft top
I would sell it with stock wheels and snow tires and either the 13" mesh wheels and decent tires or the 15" Rota GT3s and bald tires.
Here are some pictures, no good pictures of the rust though.

I was thinking maybe $1800-2000 for the price but maybe that's too high considering the rust. Opinions?
Sorry for the long post but I was bored and figured I could get some input
I think you're thinking in the right area, but you'll probably going to have to find a buyer that wants a track rat, so it might take a while to get a bite.

I'll give you $100 and a case of beer for it.
Seriously though, around here that would be a tad high. We don't have rust issues. It would sell at $1500 in a heartbeat, though if you started at $2K it would be a tough sell over this. (92 Hardtop Black SE car with blown trans, MINT):

Sorry I have no input on the value, but I am looking for some pieces rather like those!
What kind of mirrors are those?
And those orange wheels, what are those?

The wheels are 13"x5.5" from an early 80's BMW.
The mirrors are from a Shelby Cobra replica site here. They are mounted to an aluminum plate to mount at the stock location. Basically and oval plate with 2 holes drilled for the stock bolts on the door and 1 hole in the middle for the mirror to bolt to. They work better on doors with power mirrors originally, if the doors had manual mirrors you have to enlarge the center hole for it to fit.

Yea probably the 320i, they are a bit narrow but the offset is good, with 195 tires they would be a bit better. They have 185/70/r13 on now.
Mirrors available here www.VictoriaBritish.com Raydot replicas, I believe $60 bucks each
I think the Hardtop adds value as do the mods.
Let me know when you are ready to sell it away...you are a bit far, but doable.
If its an option, I would sell the hard top separately. I think you will make out better that way.
