Midwest folks, we had a successful get together in the spring and we were thinking another after the challenge would be great. I'm leaning toward mid October somewhere in Indiana, lots of cool places to meet within 3 hours of most of us.
As of now, 9/9/16 we are planning for 10/15/16 at the Gilmore Museum in Hickory Corners, MI. If you can say "In" or "Out" I will try to put a list together and figure out a place to eat as a group.
I'm in for something! Really enjoyed the Spring Studebaker Tour.
Us MN-Dakota folks should do something too.
Sounds like fun to me! Maybe I'll actually be able to make it to this one.
How about a meeting at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway museum? (It's in the center of the track FYI)
I would be interested, though maybe not for Indy.
Any estimate of when? I need to get this blocked off on my calendar so I can actually make this one...
Oct 15 or 16? Probably somewhere north of Indy, the Michigan, Chicago, Ohio and Indy contingent will all be closer. Auburn would be great, the ACD museum is a must see, any other suggestions?
In reply to Indy-Guy:
It's kind of small, smaller than the studebaker museum was. Would probably need to plan on doing the dallara factory also.
I would be in for the ADC museum, along with the Distance trophy. If I remember correctly there is another museum behind it with more modern stuff.
The "Truck" museum is behind it, both are good views.

Consulting the great calendar in the sky, I see rallycross Saturday and autocross fun-run event Sunday... Figures.
I mentioned it before, but the Gilmore Collectionis a must see if you haven't been there.

I was looking at that, are there resturants nearby? Nothing is really showing up except the diner and resturant on site.
bumping this up for the weekday after holiday crowd.
Despite having grown up an hour from there I had never heard of it
But looking at where it is on a map it looks like it's not far from Gull Lake. Maybe that would offer some dining choices? I know most places are probably seasonal, but some may be year round.
And Kalamazoo isn't far from there, I know there are good food options there.
I vote for Gilmore, I haven't been there in years. Used to go twice a year.
I am interested in attending but my ability to commit is limited Because of that, I commented late so as not to sway the location toward me on only a less than 50% chance of attending.
The Gilmore would be a great place to meet and tour. Between Richland or Galesburg there ought to be some decent place for grub and a beer.Kalamazoo isn't far either.
