We're still looking for a car in which to stuff our 8BA Flathead V8.
This ain't gonna be it...

Very cool but for $140K I think a hand build clone could be constructed. Still neat.

140K for that? You could make a replica of that very easily. Its basically a narrowed model a frame. Speedway ever sells a bunch of FB panels that mimick that look. That would be a cool place for your flathead.

This project is a partnership so we need a consensus, but I'm leaning heavily in that direction.

I think what you want is a postal jeep:

i dont think cars like the miller you show look right with a v-8 they should be something long 6's or 12's. i think the flathead should go in to something of its era from 49 to 53 just my thought

Sure... a replica would be a lot cheaper, but it would be... a replica. This one is more or less original. That's where the value is. No, I wouldn't buy it - there are other historic race cars I'd rather have for $140K+ - but for a Miller fan who wants to go racing and has the means to do so, here's thier chance.

I agree with this and for years, I've wanted to build something Bugatti-ish with a Jaguar engine.
But now, we happen to have a freshly built flatty and no place to put it. I'm inspired by the Old Gray Mare.
Look no further than a Lakes Modified.
