On the google it isn't quite clear but can this be fixed without a whole sc? Pto gear bearing totally gone.
Not sure if this should have had oil or not but was bone dry.

It should have had oil in the PTO gears and it is available to rebuild the unit, or used to be. I didn't do my own but had a specialist do it and my google-foo hasn't found a kit yet. Make sure the water pump is good while you're at it.

Have the PTO gears turned to a pile of dry black dust or is it just that coupling that is screwed up?
The gears themselves look decent. I would just file dress them and send it. The housing has some wear where the bearing should be and hard to say its ok until I have it off and new bearings in my hand.
I wonder who else looked at this and read it as, "miniature super charger."
I'm tired, it's been a long day!

I was, What sort of minisupercharger?
Then, Mini, sup....ahh.
I have a spare here that i have no use for because it was an impulse buy by an idiot. If yours is fubar, let me know what you need.
I will start a new thread for physically miniscule superhargers later
duster lmk what you have, i think I need the endplate, drive snout, bearings, and oil. The bearings and oil are easy but the plate and snout aren't.
I have a new PTO housing on the way (bad gear, good shaft and drive)and the bearings/seals are readily available from Deadskunk's link in about 10 days which isn't horrible.
My gears are passing my "good enough" test based on how bad others were when they pulled them out for wear. I will file dress the small bits of damage I see.
I have yet to find a DIY on doing the PTO rebuild but if anyone has/sees one or has tips LMK.
