Currently I use a wink mirror and two side mirrors.
The right side mirror broke off stump; the mirrors are 80s Vitaloni 33295s and simple aren't available.
I could simply just pull the remains of the rich mirror as the wink covers that side but for some reason I don't like that solution.
So I am curious to what side mirrors you all like?
I have one of the big concave Longacre mirrors in the center of the M3. Side mirrors are OEM.
I have a wink mirror and oem side mirrors. Tried round spot mirrors, but had a hard time with actual position of cars. So I reinstalled the oems.
I am glad this thread popped up. I use the stock exterior mirrors, but I have a parabolic Longacre center mirror now. I can't decide whether I like it, but I want to try a wink mirror so bad! I can't remember if I asked you about yours in one of your video posts, but seeing what others say will be interesting!

Our NA Miata has a Longacre center mirror and factory exterior mirrors. The Longacre provides an excellent view right and rear. I have considered replacing the factory mirrors with the small round a-pillar or rollcage mounted mirrors, but haven't done so yet.
Here's a screenshot of the Longacre on track... from the driver's viewpoint, you get from directly behind you and the right side. Great coverage.

I have a wink mirror in my Capri, and I'm not really a fan. IMHO the Longacre mirror provides the same/better coverage while taking up a lot less real estate in the car, and at least two of the mirror 'facets' in the Wink are loose.

My only issue with the Wink mirror in my car is it get's a little blurry at higher RPMs and speeds; I think that may have more to do with my mounting than the mirror itself.
A lot of the race cars I've seen at endurance events and NASA events are using a display and some flavor of backup camera or the like now - position wherever you want, etc.
Personally I just use Longacre curved mirrors, I find the wink to be a bit annoying.
For cameras, a wide-angle rear camera can be very handy, especially in newer cars with smaller windows. My Toyobaru has an aftermarket one that I can display at any time on the aftermarket headunit, and while it's hard to judge distance in it you can see cars that are pretty much alongside you. With that in addition to the stock mirror setup and stick-on parabolic discs on the side mirrors, I haven't felt a need to upgrade the mirror setup any further.

We have the factory drivers' side mirror(no factory passenger) and wink on our pickup which I don't prefer. Too much info overlap
We have the 3 factory mirrors on our sedan, with 1.5" circles. Love it!
I use the Longacre one offset to the right to give better visibility through the cage, but it gives a surprisingly good view to the left and right. Enough so that I removed the factory side mirrors and mounted some circular convex mirrors to the cage. *disclaimer* I don't do wheel to wheel with this car, so I don't need super clear side visability, so take my suggestion with a grain of salt.
I had a wink before this, but found it to be distracting seeing one car in multiple mirrors. Plus it was hard to understand exactly where the other car was.
In reply to Tom1200 :
I bought a pair of Vitalonis at the Vintage festival a few years ago, but I'll probably never get around to using them. I'm fairly certain that I can be talked out of them.

I hated the wink mirror in my Lemons car and much preferred the convex Longacre style. The side view especially on the right was pretty redundant with that.

Shoot me a PM on what you want for them.
On Shelly we used a longacre style panoramic mirror and two stock side mirrors. as said above the right side mirror is a bit redundant with the panoramic as you can see quite a bit out the right side.
we opted against the wink panel because 1 setof headlights in your rear view becomes 5 sets of headlights in your rear view.
after the first race we added a rear view camera that unfortunately didn't have enough range to be useful and a convex mirror for the driver's side.

This was a game changer.
I had S/P/A LeMans mirrors with convex lenses in my previous racecar:

Just completed my second race weekend with my new racecar: an E30 with stock side mirrors. I always thought E30 mirrors were pretty good, but I really REALLY missed the LeMans mirrors! Much wider field of view and excellent clarity. No distortion or anything.
