My daughter's 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor's (3.8 V6) MIL came on and I scanned it. It's a O2 sensor heater code on Bank 1 Sensor 2. Now I know Bank 1 refers to the bank that has #1 cylinder on it and of course Sensor 2 is the one downstream from the convertor. My question is: Is Bank 1 the front or rear bank? I have heard both sides and I know each manufacturer can be different.

Thanks in advance...

Hello,

I am not a Mitsubishi tech but I have been a DSM guy forever so I know a little bit about the whole Mitsubishi lineup and my knowledge is that bank 1 on Mitsubishi transversely mounted 6 is the firewall side...

Best regards,

Rob
