Over in the R63 thread a number of us mentioned that we'll be at the MotoGP race in Austin this weekend. We should try and organize a time/place for us to converge to meet and shake hands and walk awkwardly away. I haven't been to the track since the first year, so I'm not the best judge of where a good meeting place is, so I'm leaving that up to you guys.
Wherever the pretty girls and the beer is...(crap, family is with me this year)...uh, I don't really know the place that well but maybe we should pick something like say the Ducati truck at a certain time?
Ducati tent is cool. Main event races are 11:00, 12:20, and 2:00. Are you going to be there early?
Yeah we'll be there hopefully around 830 or so. Looks like the weather is going to cooperate 
I'll be there at turn 5.....but I'll be on the wrong side of the fence for booze and debauchery. Holler if you need an extra ticket for one of the days. Look for a dark grey Xterra and I'll just be on the other side as one of the blue suits.
I'll be at turn 11 most likely. But I'll try to make my way to the Ducati tent. It's a doozy of a walk but my flabby self could use the walking.
I'd need to have a tack map with numbered corners to know where turn five or eleven is. Last year I was sitting where they come up out of the esses just past the left hander heading unto the little straight that leads to the short straight prior to the hairpin before the back straight

Anyway how about meeting up early so everyone can then get to their respective preferred viewing areas before the action starts?
I'll be working Nick. I'm the corner captain for turn 5 intervention team. Turn 5 is the first outside corner station past the foot bridge. It's the middle of the Esses.
so you were in turn 7-8 last year....Gees I'm there too much.

I think it was past that, they had a big ass TV across from us and not a lot of people because it was a long walk to get there. I'll scream something obnoxious at you as I walk past to get to my spot
I really wish I could have made this. I will be watching a different European phenomenon, a Y15 soccer tournament in NJ.
I might be streaming it on my phone though.

If the motoamerica races are any sign of the quality of racing tomorrow,it'll be a helluva day. The supersport race today was incredible.

Since nobody has said a time to meet up yet I guess I'll try to be hanging around the Ducati around ten unless I hear different.
Ducati at 10:00 it is. I'll be wearing my GRM shirt but it will probably be under something, so I'll be wearing my green O'Reilly hat and have a 15 year old girl in tow.
Got all of the one lap car prep done today, all motorcycles tomorrow!
