the car falls off around 4500-5k RPM... I dunno if its maxing out NA RX-7 460cc injectors, noise, or valve float. Heres a datalog of said problem. Input on how to rectify this??? GT2871R, currently at 13-14psi 2.2 turbo 12v F2T.

Can you put it on msruns.com or somewhere else where I can find the actual link to download it instead of a bunch of ad links?

Dan i can't see any of these or have the capability to open up your logs in a program right now, but what are your VE tables doing at this point?

Dean.... Your always helping me out!!! Be it 3000GT VR-4 parts or MegaSquirt assistance. I'd be lost without you and Ben...

You've got some real weird jumps in the upper cells between 4000 and 5000. That said, we're a little over my head right now so that may be normal. I mainly asked to see if the valves were eating E36 M3.

All I see is that the jumps aren't so linear up there.

I don't see anything in the log. Post a MSQ. please.

Based on that fuel table you are adding 40% more fuel across the range you are complaining about. Seems like a big jump over small rpm but I am not familiar with that engine. Get that log and msq up.

These motors tend to make peak torque at about 3800rpm. He should be hitting max boost well before that on his relatively small turbo, though. Torque should be dropping probably from 4000 to fuel cut. I'm not a tuning genius but i don't see the need for a 40% jump just from working with these motors.

But then again, i've never tuned one on Megasquirt, either.

I think your VE needs some work. try this one and let me know what happens. Also I do not see your o2 data. Do you have one? You may just be out of fuel. or have toooooo much. Your Inj. is at 91% when your eng cuts out

I don't think there's any way possible he's out of fuel. He's got 460cc injectors and is only pushing ~13psi on a 28RS. That thing might be making 230-240whp at MOST at the moment. It's going pig rich when it's falling on its face.

Dan, i just thought of something: If you really DO have a Walbro 255lph HP in there, your stock FPR might just be giving up the ghost and it's time for an aftermarket unit.

I tried the VE you sent GVX19, it was WAAY lean.... I opened the tune I had, and leaned out the topend. Here is a couple datalogs and the current MSQ in the ECU currently. https://drive.google.com/#folders/0B9YltSYEj-5nQmZVSUJLOFZDaEk

Use megatune to go into your VE table. In tools change the ReqFuel. Up or down to richen the full table. Or use msdroid which is faster and ez'er.

The VE table is going to 260kPa. This is equivalent to 24 psi. If you are only running 14psi then you need to rescale your table so that your top row is at 200kPa. (or 205). That being said, at WOT (200kPa row) under boost you have 1.7X the amount of fuel at 5500rpm compared to 4600 rpm. SWO is correct. You are just dumping fuel and going way rich. you might even see mis-fires that make your WBO2 look lean at that amount of rich.

Lean it out and make a smooth transition and it should run.

Basically... You need to tune the motor.

He's gonna need a 260kpa scale lol. I'm glad you explained that though, I feel like I have a halfway decent idea of what I'm looking at now.

Dan,

My Software is on the fritz at the moment I just sent an email to EFI Analysis to se eif they can help me so I am dead in the water for the moment. in terms of looking at your files

Dont f with reqfuel, set it correctly. You dont need to change the top row. You need to tune. If you have multiply afr in, your ve numbers shod be well under 100, generally 75-85 past 100kpa.

In reply to Paul_VR6:Pleae forgive me. for not making my self more clear. My map is set up for 6.8 reqfuel. I did not rescale it for dansxr2 as I do not know what his reqfuel is. I was giving dansxr2 the task of rescaling the table his self. I was on brake at work and did not have much time to reply.

No worries, I didnt catch that you sent him a file. Just sending him a decent looking ve table to import would probably be easier for him, as he wouldnt have to look at any of the ither parameters.

Dan email me your MSQ and any logs you may have I can take a look at them if you want.
