I'd vote for the Rota HB10, I'm guessing the similar looking ones Alpina used were made by Campagnolo back in the day.

I've gotten spoiled by free shipping. Both the Ronal Turbos and the Rota HB10s will add ~$200 to the total to ship, which makes them considerably less plausible, especially when Tire Rack will ship me four (admittedly less desirable) wheels with centering rings and lug nuts free.
In reply to Woody (Forum Supportum) :
Thanks! They could well be those wheels; I didn't have a full set of center caps for them, but I think I might have one or two lying around somewhere. I'll have to see how they're marked, assuming I can find them.
In reply to 02Pilot :
I wouldn't worry about refinishing, pretty easy unless you want super pristine.
Once I got them stripped, I just followed the directions on duplicolor aluminum primer and wheel paint for the centers, left the barrels unfinished/aluminum, and they looked good for the 6 years I had the car.
It took all of a Saturday afternoon.
To me, easy button is the Team Dynamics - quite close to mine in spoke design, and close enough to Alpina in structure.
I think they'd look good on your car.
HB10s and pretty much anything else will need spacers.
Larger center bore I wouldn't worry a lot about. Centering rings are easy if not necessarily ideal.

I'd have to see about getting them blasted. I used to have a guy around here, but I haven't had any dealings with him in a few years, so I'd have to see if he's still around. I'm not averse to spray bombing the centers (that's what I did with the current wheels) - right now everything is just "one more thing," so there's a strong inclination to do easy.
I like the spoke design of the Team Dynamics, but I'm less thrilled about the outer edge with the inset design and text. The center bore is also 3mm smaller than what I need.
A little more then you're looking to spend, but, since about everything else requires spacers, not by much.
I think you wouldn't notice the casting in lip after a bit, but, not quite what you're looking for.
And, heard on refinishing Quasars still being a process. Not bolt and go.
Scroll to see silver colored ones, a bit less obnoxious with the lip.
Not quite as aggressive looking as the "LT" style, would still look good on your car, imo.

There's no such thing as free shipping. There's only shipping included :)

Now you're just being pedantic (and I mean that in the best possible way ).
Currently leaning toward the Team Dynamics Pro Race LT Spec E30, which is a straight bolt-on. With 10% off and free shipping (um, I mean "included"), they're probably about as cheap and easy - and easy is key - as I'm going to find for something that 1) doesn't weigh a ton, and 2) I don't hate.
In reply to 02Pilot :
When I first proposed to the owners that FM should offer free shipping, one of them could simply not wrap their head around the idea of "and we'll raise our prices by the same percentage as our shipping costs, so it'll all zero out". They were fully expecting that FM would not be compensated for shipping in any way.
My wife gets absolutely furious when someone charges her shipping, even though she knows...

"Will call" :)
I saw a very original looking 74-76 2002 sitting outside a shop today and I forgot how much I love the way that these cars look on the original 13 inch steelies and a lot of sidewall.
In reply to Woody (Forum Supportum) :
It's great, except for the dearth of 13" tires. I'm told the new production Pirelli CN36 is pretty good, however. Doesn't help me in any case because I've got big brakes on the front that most 13s won't fit over.

That's not shipping! Or it is, but you're providing it.

I had to go to 15s on the CRX because of the lack of 13" options.
I don't know if you can make 15x8" work, but here's a screaming deal on a set with 28mm offset, 14.4lbs in Montreal. $357 with the current exchange rate!

I did a bit of reading on 2002faq, I think 15x7 is really about all you can get, any wider or different than the et25 range and you need some camber plates and or flares.
I liken it to the E21, where I can get 15x8s under it with camber plates, but 15x9s require serious mods.
Ended up pulling the trigger on the Team Dynamics Pro Race LT Spec E30 in silver. I know folks posted a bunch of other options, and I appreciate all the suggestions, but the last two days have been a E36 M3show (what's Thanksgiving without a 3am trip to the ER?) and I needed not to be thinking about this any more.
In reply to 02Pilot :
Those should look great on your 2002.
They remind me a little of the 94-97 Miata seven spokes, which are my favorite Miata wheels.
I hope that you (or whomever ended up in the ER) are/is feeling better.
Please close out this thread with some pictures once you get them mounted, I'm looking forward to that!
