Loves. The old Saab 900 SPG is happiest when it is cold. Its little turbo feels so much stronger as the temp drops.

Cherokee doesn't seem to care. Shifter feels pretty bad when it's cold, though.

The MX6 motor loved winter. The tires weren't so happy.

The window in my 03 Golf just decided to get down in the door to get out of the cold. Nothing like driving around at -8C with the driver's window down!!!

Edit: Fixed now. What a E36 M3 design.

My Cobalt gets dash rattle and loses like 7 mpg avg, however once warmed up my engine doesnt mind low rpms as much.

the 5.3 in my avalanche likes the cold air but i go from 15mpg to 12. the 454 in my 90 c1500 absolutely loves it, feels like it has 100 more hp, and will boil the tires through 3rd. i keep shifting they keep spinning. awesome. and nobody cares about mileage with a 454.

Civic hybrid hates cold. Takes forever to warm up, then cools enough to blow cold air on downhills. I have to block 75% of the rad to make it reasonable. Car is fine with block in summer too.

The trans in the SVX doesn't like the cold much and the economy sucks, but otherwise it seems fine. The wagon likes to idle at 1500 rpm until it gets some heat in it, which sucks with a manual trans and the fact that I usually shift near 1500 rpm around town anyway...

Does not care. Gets slightly worse mileage, but not significant.

My Forester XT absolutely disregards the cold weather. It is a four season ride, and it doesn't care what the weather is on any given day.

I run about 75% grill block year round as well on my Cobalt XFE.

The duster loves it when its cold. So much better running. Subaru seems to rattle less, have more power, and get the same fuel economy. Mazda loses 3-6 mpg, rattles more, freezes shut, ans generally hates below freezing.

Best car uve ever had in winter was my acr. Damn thing did great in the snow too. I miss that car.

My starter is getting weak and my snow tires rub on something in the front on sharp turns. Other than that, it's a beast in the snow. I can't wait to see someone's face when a lowered car does better in the snow than their beigemobile.

My van loves it, but only because the A/C is off. That alone almost doubles my HP.

The Green Giant, F350, couldn't care less.

The Samurai is a little cold natured when she fires off, but otherwise loves it.

The 635, I don't know. I haven't drive it since before the temps dropped.

The Abomination absolutely HATES it. I'd rather poke a hibernating bear.

Me? I always run better when it's cold. My cooling system is marginal and my insulation is akin to a walrus. Anything below 60 makes me happy.

see the post of my wrx above yours (lowered with Wintersports). I've pulled more than one (small) SUV out of grassy/snowy medians with it in the winter (though nothing particularly tough) and gone up snowy hills that are lined with SUVs and pickups stuck on the soulder. It's great.

I like to go through the hilly/woodsy "rich" neighborhood across from mine on snow days and pick up all the people who are stuck in ditches and on hills. They're always in awe of the fact that my little japanese car can get up hills that their X5 or their Escalade can't. People here don't get the whole "winter tires" thing.

wrx with trunk-mounted battery does crank pretty damn slow on really cold mornings, but other than that has never had any problems in winter weather.
