So many great wheels in this thread. But the Ronal Turbos are just drool worthy
In reply to Will :
Love the Thunderbirds and the Mark VIII.

Rad Era tow vehicle: 90 Ford E-250
A couple of my former rad racers - '87 Honda CRX Si and '96 BMW Z3 (one of the original two dozen or so press cars in the US turned race cars - could not title it for road use)
My old '83 Suburban tow beast (half-ton, 2-wheel drive)
One of the best street cars I ever had, my '85 Audi 4000s Quattro (seen here with about 200k miles on the clock parked outside the post-ice-race trophy and pizza place in Bristol, NH)
And my '84 BMW 633CSi, a project car I never really bonded with
No pictures of the '84 BMW 318i, '91 VW Fox, '87 VW Golf GT, '87 VW GTI, or '95 Jeep Grand Cherokee (DD and tow vehicle) that came and went over the years.
My '88 Porsche 924s is the only Rad thing in the fleet currently
Currently got a full fleet of RAD.
Fun car/track car
Summer daily
Just got this one, I still need to get it titled
And the GRM free A4 winter beater
Well, this is a fun thread!
It could take me a while to gather up photos of my Rad era cars, but I can share some 90s truck goodness.
When my father retired, he bought himself a new 1992 Ford Econoline van and drove it to all of the US state capitals, or at least the 49 that have a road leading to them, and, similarly, the Canadian provincial capitals. Then in 1998 he decided to downsize to a new red 1998 F150. That was the 50th Anniversary year for the Ford F Series. Here is a photo of the "old" van and new F150. He drove the F150 to Central Florida races and worked Tech for SCCA. By late 2005 he was ready to go back to driving a van, and, well, I have had custody of the F150 ever since. (second photo, current.)

One of my favorites was this '86 Integra LS. I wish we still had it.
The other one I regret selling was the '96 MX-6.
Glad to see that so many of you enjoyed the piece. We had fun putting it together, and look for more “installments” to come.
Jerry, cool to see your Escort. Waaaaaaay back in the day, I drove an Escort GT from Solo Nats to the NOPI Nats in Atlanta. This was one of the prototypes for the Street Touring concept.

My fav thing about that era is the wheels and flares!
What do you call the era after Radwood? Millennium era cars? Y2kera?
In reply to yupididit :
Yolo cars?
Personally, I like the Euro term "youngtimers" over "rad" for the 80's and 90's, but in the US the Radwood concept gave the era the name. My CRX, BTW, was one that Bradley held up as an example of the sort of cars he hoped to see at Radwood. Then, a few months later, he's got AMG Hammers taking best in show. I think the concept took a little harder than he expected :) But in honor of this, the CRX wears a total of two stickers.
If posting previous cars...
have to stop for a conference call
My 1989 944 S2 served me well for more than 20 years before it went west as Javelin's honeymoon car and You Tube star!
In reply to chandler :
Who has the black 126 now? I'm looking at a green one with a kit but the seller wont reply

That's owned by someone in California now, I sold it to Bruce Mendel and he somehow found a nicer one so ebayed it off and it went west. I believe I've seen it on some Instagram posts

I loved both of my MX6s!
Did you have both a V6 and a four-cylinder one?
I've had a few good ones over the years, all great fun in their own ways. I don't have any pics of the 94 Escort wagon, I think I miss that one the most.
