It is NEVER wrong to love a car from a chase scene in "Ronin"
The old venerable Cavalier wagon.

I had one for years as a company vehicle. I always liked the technobox look, it held a tremendous about of stuff, and just worked. It never worked well, but it just worked. I could drive it anywhere, and did quite regularly.
Appallingly likeable car.
i really want a second gen escort wagon but only in purple and box flares dont know why. never owned one just want one. otherwise 89 ford exp only 2 seats and still slow

This got me thinking of the old RS wagons. Available with the V6 and 5 speed iirc, it was a kind of Z24 wagon. Which got me thinking of the Celebrity VR wagons. So now I want one. Crap.

beat me to it. I was just going to say gremlin. Since you took that one, I'll go with a matador or pacer
I have no idea of why but I like Herald Estates. It would have to be this version with the chrome snoots over the headlights.
The later cars like this just aren't ugly enough.
I keep thinking a rotary powered RWD version of this would be cool.
People say I'm nuts because I like these (OK, that's not the only reason).

What is that?
Lada 2103s have that simple 3-box shape that I love on the Datsun 510 and BMW 2002. I know it was based on an earlier Fiat, but I like the looks of the Lada better
It is an old rear-engine RWD Skoda - I don't remember the model.

I had a 93 Grand Am 2-door. 3.3 V6 (derived from the Buick 3.8) - 3spd auto. One of the best cars I ever owned, 7 years 210,000 km. I bought it right from the showroom.
I want a turbo Cobalt SS.

Had one of these that same color.
I have a soft spot for orphan cars. Maybe that's why I like my Opel GT.
Dad liked AMC and had an uncle that had a Gremlin, I thought it was cool after driving it. I do like Austin America's and have evil thoughts of Honda VTEC installed (like has been done to Minis). Jenson-Healey I've always lusted after, even the wagon version. I'll take mine in blue with the 5-speed and Dellortos please. Ford Cortinas, the 60's version in another, especially the Lotus or GT version. Lately I've been thinking about other MG/Triumph, like a Herald or other coupe.
Renault Fuego. I had 2 of these, and loved them both. One was a 2.2 Auto and 1 was a 1.6 5-spd.
I'd love to build a modern version of one, maybe an LSX with a RWD conversion.
Also loved the LOOK of these.....nice simple shape, done right IMO.

Please note my avatar....
Thats the '85 that I swapped a 4-speed into and stroked the motor to 3.1L Not sure how much power it had, (cam was bigger and head work had been done) but it was hanging with cars it had no business being with. If only I was a better driver....
Another vote for the Fiero here. I quite enjoyed the one we had for BABE rally 2009, until it blew up and I had to abandon it in Louisiana.
I'll third this one. I've wondered for a very long time whether you could ever calm down one of the ??R.J.Smith?? race car conversions enough to be a DD.
