Looking to lower the back end of the TR4 around an inch. Made up some spacers - Stock u-bolts don't fit for length. Axle tubes are 2.25. Stock u-bolts are 3/8s - 24, 2.25 x 5 (ish). No joy with McMaster, trailer axles and my google-fu is failing me. Any ideas? Clearances are tight. I might be able to make 1/2" bolts work... even then, not finding the right tangent length.
napa? I bought some in the past and the napa box had a list a mile long of the sizes they offered.
Several local frame/trailer shops bends/threads them to your specs, as well.

Here in Eugene I would send you to Brooks "cut rate auto parts". They have a huge wall of U-bolts and on the off chance they don't have what folks need there is a big truck/semi alignment shop that makes custom U-bolts in whatever dimensions you need for about $10 each.
If you can't find them at fastenal.com, try redneck-trailer.com and then etrailer.com

Check with the local spring shop, many times they can custom bend ubolts.

This. Just recently paid $55 for a set of four at Toledo spring. Had them within 5 minutes of walking through the door, made on the spot. Most places are open pretty late, too.
