After finally getting back into autocrossing this past summer after about a 10-15 year hiatus I have decided to finally get serious (or more serious) next year and attempt to improve my car and my skills by doing some reading on car set up and so forth. So I was over on Amazon.com looking for some good informative material and I came across this:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0760331561/ref=s9subs_c1_14_img1-rfc_p-frt_p-3237_g1_si1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-1&pf_rd_r=0TYJB0EYQAN1S6HRXNPF&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=454435901&pf_rd_i=507846
Apparently it will not be available until January 2009 (at Amazon anyway) and of course I am assuming that there can only be one Per Schroeder. Maybe I am out of the loop and this is common knowledge but congrats on the new publication and I believe you have made at least one sale (me). Will it be available through the GRM store too and maybe a little sooner?

Yup, that's the same Per Schroeder, but I'm surprised to see Per listed as an author. I think he served more as a technical advisor to Ross, who has already written about a half dozen books about driving. They're all pretty good, too.
I read parts of a very early version, so I'm eager to see the finished product. Maybe if I'm nice and buy him lunch he'll sign my copy.

yea, I was a part of the planning and review process (after hours), but Ross put the words together.

Congrats! I just finished reading the first Speed Secrets. I notice there's about 6 or 8 of those books... is it suggested to read all of 'em, or could one get by with a key selection?

The author suggests you read all of them, and buy extra copies to pass on to others.
