Me Likey
2800 lbs, 225 HP, 6-speed, Shocks by Koni, and adjustable A-Arms all around. That would make this car really cool!

why so heavy? The current car is ~2500lbs.
Keeping in line with Kia's new image....take a look at the new Optima. Saw it at the auto show. Really sharp car. But a loaded one is about 30K. Yikes...

It looks a lot better than the Fiesta.

Actual numbers or "This is what we want"?
I'm going against the grain, I like the current crop of tiny cars better than this Rio. But I do admit it is much better looking than its predecessors.
The headlights remind me of the Soul, which I do like.
I like my lil'Rio, (2011) its just a base modle, but its cheep thrills at low speeds. Better tires and some springs are some tempting thoughts tho.

The first three items on the list were RSX Type-S with a tune. The last 2 items don't seem so unreasonable. But then I'm not a bean counter for an international car company.
I drove the new Rio sedan the other day. Even with the automatic, it's very nice. (I got to drive the B Spec version, too--that one's a bit spicier.)
One of those other magazines (initials MT) recently ran a 7 car comparison. Oddly, the Rio finished last and the Hyundai Accent was first. I find that really strange given that they're the same platform. My son has a 2010 Rio and I think it's a very nice little car. We've driven 750 miles in a day in it and arrived in good shape. I like the front of the new model, but the rear view is a little plain, but that wouldn't stop me from getting one.
