I am familiar with Ford’s older part number formatting / decoding. However, with my 2000 ZX2 I am not able to find info on formatting for some of its parts. I am currently wanting to decode a number that does not fit the older decode parameters. The number is: 928M-9K478

If you can direct me to a newer decode reference that would be XLNT.

Thank you

9k478 is the base number you use. If it was made prior to 2001, it will be a fxxx-9k478-xx after ahould be a 1xxx-9k478-xx or 2xxx-9k478-xx style of numbers.

But since it is a Ford older than six months you might as well begin the part number with NLA.
