Florida. No one is from here.
I guess I'd have to do red and black. Still, I thought it was clever.
Calling the Cowboys "America's team" somehow doesn't jive with the fact that every city of more than ten people in this country seems to have at least two Steeler bars. Or are Steelers fans just alcoholics?
I think it's slick.
Back in the late 90's, working at a Pontiac dealer, we had a customer buy a navy blue Grand Prix GTP. The guy was a US Navy - Blue Angels fan, so he had a pinstripe down each side ending in a jet plane with a whisp of smoke behind the jet. It was cool.

Don't bring that crap to Baltimore!

Disclaimer- im not a football fan pretty much at all. So, i would likely be a drunk regardless.

Steeler fans = the angry drunks
Bills fans = the sad drunks

C'mon David, we all know UGA fans aren't that subtle. I see at least 10 cars with some kind of UGA stripe / paint scheme every week around here. Of course, I am in Georgia...

Nope. High number of transplants. Supposedly it's a great place to be from.

Difference is most Steelers fans you encounter outside the Pittsburgh area seem to at least have some connection to the city, even if it goes back a generation or two.
Most Cowboy fans outside of Texas, on the other hand, probably couldn't find Dallas on a map, let alone had ever been there or had any connection to the city at all whatsoever. The only defining trait seems to be that they are generally among the more smug and less intelligent people you are likely to encounter within a given geography.

Plus, doesn't like 95% of the country despise the Cowboys? Or is that just the East Coast? I dunno, I don't really follow fubaw; I just hear things.
I like to dislike the Stealers after the 2005 superbowl fiasco. That being said, I wouldn't do that on any car I own unless I owned the team or was getting paid to advertise for them.

This might be somewhat similar to the high quantity of Braves fans between the ages of 22 and 39 or so.
The braves won a lot of games between 1991 and 2005. They were also on TBS most nights. So kids could watch a team on TV a lot, and that team was good. I'm pretty sure that's how I, a Cincinnati native, ended up a braves fan.
The Cowboys were good and exciting during the 90s, when a lot of people started really watching football on tv. They had a good QB, who had a Super Nintendo game, and a big name RB and WR. I suspect for some people who were kids at that time, the fandom stuck.
