I finished both sections in one day...speed swapping. Found some deals. I pieced together a 10 piece VDO gauge set for $75.

I dropped by ditchdigger's booth twice, but you weren't there. Never saw another GRM shirt, but I scored a set of new 14" slicks for $50 from a guy who has a 74 Javelin and recognized mine from GRM.

I also got 1 model kit and that was it. Saw good stuff, just not what I needed. Not feeling 100% either. Daddy daughter day is going pretty awesome though.

BTW, check out Driveline Services in Portland to see if they'll do your axles. Might be a reasonable option, at least a local one.

Ransom, Burrito Enthusiast and I spent all day today at the expo and PIR. Got the van stuck in the mud, had a lot of laughs, walked way too far and scored some cool stuff. Sorry I missed anyone who stopped by the booth when I wasn't there. Someone turned my PC on in Eugene so my phone wasn't able to catch any of the emails from members suggesting meetups either

Thursday at the track was AWESOME. Perfect weather, plenty of deals and a great time with my dad. Friday at the Expo was the same. Passed on a few things I shouldn't have, bought a few things I shouldn't have, and ended up with more than a C4 Vette can haul and need to go back up soon to get the rest of it from my brothers garage. stuff for the Triumph, fiat and falcon plus random guitar and bicycle goodies. Shift knobs, turbos, headlights, Tilton master cylinder, vintage Skyway Tuff II's, some 16" steelies for the falcon and much much more.

Ransom scored an entire 5.0 EFI setup for a tenner and Burrito Enthusiast picked up a vintage Kamei chin spoiler for the same.

Now I need some time off to recover from my vacation.

I might. The problem with events like this is Craigslist. Everyone sells crap immediately on there, so the once a year event is picked clean before it ever begins. They need to make it a swap meet/ car meet. Make a reason to bring your junk.

You walked right by me in the half-moon area just outside the Expo Center halls. I was towing Mini-Jav in a wagon and carrying a 73 Javelin grill (mint! that I paid $25 for!!!).
