What part of it is it that makes it a '69?
Is it the '82 nose cone? Is it the '82 rear bumper?
Seems to be just the very thin piece of metal that holds a vin.

It's a race car. Like most race cars, it was built in one year, and then updated. It's not like it would be that hard to put a 68 front and rear clip back on it.
