Route has officially been announced.
Also, ECR is now my home track and I'm probably moving even closer to it in March. There's a legit chance i could sleep in my own bed on Night #2.
No Grissom. Where do you think the autox will be? NOLA?
Which of these has drag racing?
A warm year. Only one track in The North other than South Bend.
In reply to John Welsh :
Grissom didn't appear on the big fancy photo. Just the mini schedule. May still happen. But probably not

re: Drags...
VIR is 2 hours west of VMP... which would be classic "Brock" way to add some miles, and catch people unawares. It would also make the route up to Nelson more interesting/late.
also, I'm going to have to figure out who of sleepywife's family wants to put up with a handful of street-legal race cars crashing their place before VIR.

and the route is going past Z-Max as well.
or Road Atlanta to VIR via Bristol Dragway.
In reply to MrChaos :
I think Z-Max would be more likely. Brock would have to schedule us to leave Road Atlanta around 4:30... which means we'd pull in to Bristol at 8:30, which tends to be a bit late. Usually we have two venues in the same day, they try to schedule the second venue at 2hours max from the first (based on my experience).
<smacks head>
we're idiots... Memphis is a Dragway! We're going to do the drags there, imho.
edit:
that's the way it ran back in 2014
I like the route and tracks this year. Chrissy and I would consider going again but already have a trip planned to LeMans for the 24 this year, taking the vacation time and $ necessary to run one lap.
Also waitlisted with money sent.
I am pretty excited about this route, gonna give me an excuse to come visit Spacecadet and Mazdaduece this winter

3 Wish list tracks for me: VIR, Road Atlanta and Nelson Ledges. I know... one of those is not like the others.
Dang... that filled up fast! Wasn't planning on running the overgrown Malibu this year, but that schedule is tempting. I've got a few tanks of gas at at VIR and Road Atlanta plus passing knowledge at Nelson that would move us up a bit higher.
Only did this once once but man, I want to do it again!
Somebody sponsor me! Solid mid-pack gets you lots of advertising, right?
I mean, I think the list was at 50 within two weeks of the website being updated and opened for entries. Which is kind of bonkers to me... I mean, just back in 2018, I don't think I signed up until January 1st? Actually, I think last year might have been the first time I saw a wait-list since I started in 2009?
It's interesting, and I'm not real sure where it's coming from. The people that are there, it's not clear that it's coming from Roadkill/Pastrana... but maybe they're reminding people and that and a few other things are getting a bunch of repeats to come out which is driving the number up.
