I replaced a rusty rear wheel arch on my truck, and I'm going to put a set of OEM flares on once the paintwork is finished. I did my best to fade the new paint into the old. I know it would be better to paint the entire bedside, but that's not going to happen. Honestly, I hope to put a flatbed on this truck, so this is hopefully a short term fix anyway. It doesn't have to be perfect. I have not clear coated it yet because there is a bit of overspray at the outer edge of the repair. Should I wet sand this prior to clear, or will clear coat and buffing take care of it?
