Nice render. When can we see pics of a real one ;p

It's nice. Of course it doesn't drop ontop of a proven popular and cheap chassis :)

That looks fabulous. The text made me wonder, though.....

Zolland Design AB, a Swedish graphic arts and design firm that also goes by the name Vizualtech, has rendered an Indy Roadster style body they call the IndySeven with the correct dimensions to fit on a Caterham or Lotus Seven chassis.

....are there any plans to make it? The article didn't give me that impression.

Pretty sexy.
Lets see Vizualtech start up a progress thread here before we start changing over our Exocet plans.

The bad news: all the bodywork I've designed and built have admittedly been on the functional side of aesthetic.

The good news: I am not the designer of the new bodywork, just the guy who will make it happen. The hand-picked team of secret designers is pretty amazing, but I have been sworn to, um, secrecy. I'll be sure to add this sexy beast to the massive list of inspirations. Marketing-guy-mandatory-disclaimer: New bodywork is not coming 'till 2014 folks, current and past Exocets will be upgradable, and the thermoformed panels will be cheap. Don't put off your waitlist position.

Aero is happening much quicker than the new bodywork, however...

That I really like and I thought the 7 would be hard to top.

While that is a fantastic looking rendering that could prove to be a great inspiration for future bodywork, and has general layout proportions similar to a Lotus 7, there is no way that it actually has "the correct dimensions to fit on a Caterham or Lotus 7 chassis" without extensive modifications to the frame and running gear. The fact that it's from a "graphic arts" firm seems to tell me just about everything I should need to know about the design and the article perpetuating such claims.
