Piece of crap Korean junk.

In laws Kia Forte needed the transmission (auto) replaced at 55k miles as it started a small slip, and it only took an additional 30k miles and almost needing to be towed in to convince the dealership to do it.

They got it covered for free but the stealership put a reman one in. I get to check it out Sunday to see if there getting hosed as their is only 14k left in the drivetrain warranty.

I don't despise Kia, my dad likes his manual Koupe except he thinks first gear is a bit too low. I just hate automatics after having to see so many replaced in my family's cars.

SWMBO's Accord had the starter die when we where on vacation last fall. It only had 160k original miles on it.

Hyundais are old news. Everyone is moving on to Fiats now.

I really ought to change the original serpentine belt on my 228k mile 07 Prius. Luckily though, original front brake pads seem to be doing ok. Regenerative braking ftw. In the winter the mpg dropped to 43.

It may not have had an engine. We just had it a short while and I don't remember opening the hood.

I checked under the hood of a corvair once. No engine! Then he drove it away. Pure sorcery I tell you!

I had a Hyundai pony for a few months. Driving more than one pony is the automotive equivalent of wearing a gimp suit to the grocery store.

Well those Canadian winters get long and gimp suits are surprisingly warm...

I'ts been winter here since November 1st. The "sticky" tires are still in the computer room nice and warm. In fact, yesterday we had slushy snow.... again. Fuuuu.... can spring actually arrive sometime soon?
