My truck started giving a misfire while pulling our camper.

The code scanner showed  Cylinder 6 miss fire as the only code in memory.   at 75K on the plugs I figure I had a few more miles, but replacing plugs is far cheaper than coil packs.

What do you guys think of the condition of these?  Cylinder 6 should be drivers rear (Bottom Left) if I'm reading the literature correctly.

What engine. If Ford with cop, the plugs will outlast the coils.

And I would say 6 has been misfiring.

To me, the plugs look normal.

One thing that has been a problem is water in the intercooler- any chance you can pop a hole in it and plug it with a screw?

IIRC, I've seen postings here of a pin hole drill that doesn't leak enough to cause a power problem.

This aligns with my experiences with Fords and coil failure.

thankfully it was just the plugs.   Even though the parts store sold me a cracked plug that took me some time to figure out.

Overthought things and was swapping coils and regapping the plugs before taking a closer inspection.
