Where's Dave? Someone said he was there, but i'm not seeing any results for him yet?
Also can't find the Purple People Eater FSP Protege.
Nope. Safe and sound in the MKE defending the world against metric motorcycles, one Harley-Davidson at a time!
Lots of personal turmoil this year (divorce, new job etc.)... next year we hope to be there in the ZX2.
Holy hell @ the gap in SSM.
Super Street Modified: Buttsecks! The only class where the size of your trophy is directly proportionate to how many engine rotors are crammed into your 3rd Gen RX7.

The CP times seem slower than they should be. FS was .8 second faster. Anyone know why?
In reply to Will:
A buddy of mine posted on facebook that their was rain earlier. I'd guess CP ran in the rain and FS in the dry. Just a guess.

My understanding is that first heat was soaked, second heat was wet but drying, and after that was dry. CP ran in the final heat, and I didn't hear the announcer mention rain once.
Huh. That makes sense. My buddy posted early in the day that it was raining but he was hoping it would clear.

Yep...........
CP and FS ran afternoon heats when it was dry, sunny and hot for both. They switch courses tomorrow and there's no chance of rain.

I can't believe I didn't notice they ran on different courses. I'm gonna go put my dunce cap on now.
Nice going yesterday Dave!!! (Your co-driver, too!)

I'm not taking credit away from my CP brothers, but it's worth mentioning that multi-time champ Mike Maier was a no show. I'm inclined to agree that things feel "off pace".

As awesome as they are, CP is not the fastest class. Also, considering that Mark Daddio is leading FS, it's no real surprise; the man ain't called an "alien" for nuthin'.

+1 Dave- that's pretty awesome.
Just don't let it get to your head, yet.
Another question- did SM and SM-FWD run in different weather?
Go Alan! (The office is having a small rally to send good mojo his way.)

I agree completely. But if for some reason FS did outrun CP (which didn't happen), it would essentially mean that adding power and lightness to a Mustang or Camaro makes it worse.

You met Brad Foreman then. I co-drove his car last year at Nationals (I was the tire warmer). Great guy.
