In my ideal world I'd just put a a fuel pump right on the frame rail where the mechanical pump was located on my 88 K30 but the internets have me worried. I have dual tanks so would I be better off putting the pump right after the switch for them?  What pump? I hear something about a factory Ford pump working well?

Fluid pumps push much better than they pull, and may not like self-priming. For that reason you want them both near the tank and down low.

Plus pushing the fuel keeps it from boiling on a hot day.

Ok guess I'll put it at the switch. Any pump recommendations?
