Would a Canadian 96 Civic EX sedan (auto) be likely to have ABS? I'm unable to get empirical data from the owner until Monday.

It's very clean, 127k km, newish winter tires, and seems from the outside to have been somebody's baby.

Any thoughts appreciated!

Almost a definate on the ABS. I've heard more bad than good on older Honda-matics(like late 80's-early 90s), but '96 was the first year of a new body style, might have a better tranny.

Short answer: Its a honda, 9 out of 10 times its a good used car as long as its had at least minumum maintenance.

Ditto. I'm pretty sure the US-spec ones came with it, so I'd think the Canadian ones absolutely would.
