I haven't seen a thread on Radwood Detroit yet. It was this last Saturday down on the riverfront. I went with Tom Spangler in his 85.5 944 and head a great time. Lot's of cool cars with far more Japanese stuff that I'd originally expected. I don't know what the official number were, but I guesstimate there were 300 cars there. I think my favorite was the Red Escort Cossie followed by the LeMons Rolls Royce race car. I even saw a car that I had no idea existed before a Zagato Stelvio. Very obviously a Zagato from 100 feet away, but wow was it weird, photo's down thread. I think Nissan may have been the most common vehicle there with at least 10 R32/34 GTR's plus lot's of older 280 and 300 ZX's.
So, here are a few pics.
The Zagato Stelvio, new one on me
BEutifully tacky and over the top stock Toyota Crown, this is one of my other fav's
I have some pics I will post later today. And, since I don't have an iPhone, mine aren't blurry!
Possibly the nicest Fiesta I've ever seen. Added ZETEC Power and really nice flares.

HEy, I showed you there was something wrong with the phone, and the blurry one you took!!!!
I was planning on going but life got in the way. Thanks for the pics!
I love that pink Aerostar. And the Cosworths, of course. And that sweet sweet Fiesta.
I think I read an article on the Stelvio a while ago, those weird hood mirror bulges jogged my memory.
That Fiesta is bonkers. What a paint job! Thanks for sharing.
Damn, I should have went. Definitely next year, I love weird rare stuff!
We were there, that's our Gen 1 Montero! Was a great time and was honestly surprised that there were less rad domestics. I thought there would be a sea of turbo mopars, trans ams, and mullet mobiles but quite a lot of diversity at the show.
Here's some photos of our crew and favorites of the show. I would do horrible things to own that Mitsubishi Legnum VR4.
Went with a friend saturday around opening, didnt have a GRM shirt on (couldn't find it), but we got pictures of a ton of the same stuff. I'll add some to this later. It was a cool show, I enjoyed all the weird stuff. We spent a lot of time marveling over the AutoZam and the size of its steering wheel
Wish I had know about it. Looks like a good time!
I go to church with the Zagato's owner - he has all kinds of nutty stuff like (or not like?) it that I've never heard of before.
That's a Toyota Century, not a Crown. Still nice.
I wanted to see more Reattas and Allantés.
My son went.... apparently ,I should have gone with him. Looks like a good show.
So that LeMons Rolls is still around, I remember when it first went out with a monocle ring around one headlight fixture and gold brick wheel chocks. That pushrod suspension conversion is very interesting. I assume some budget exemption rule keeps the Tilton pedal box from blowing the whole budget to hell?
In reply to GameboyRMH :
There was a sticker somewhere that basically said 'That doesn't look like it cost $500.....We dont' care'
Radwood Detroit was a fantastic show! Me and the gang brought the MkII Celica Supra. By any chance, did you see the C8 that showed up in the parking lot?
