So, I contacted RAM clutches awhile back about my ram 78100 that was really difficult to work back and forth by hand. I was told it might be cold or need worked back and forth to make it better. So I did that, and it seemed to be better when heated up to room temp (garage temps are about 40°). I installed the bearing finally today, and now, after having bled the system, the unit is fully extended and won't retract. The pedal is hard as a rock and feels like a brake hydraulic system. It's as if the unit is being held up somehow. I took it off the transmission bearing sleeve to make sure that wasn't it. No change. Still a hard pedal with no retraction. For giggles I opened the remote bleeder and manually retracted the bearing assembly, then closed the bleeder. I tried the pedal again, it went to the floor first pump, but then the pedal got hard again and the bearing fully extended. Any ideas? I swapped in a 3/4" master cylinder, the lines go hard line to a female-female inverted flare to the stainless flex line to the 78100. And on the other side of the bearing, the remote bleed kit.
