Damn. Very tempting. Are those Recaro seats stock? It's only an hour away. Hmmm.

Anybody know anything about these cars? A 2-door hatch with recaro's, lotus suspension, and it's 80's. But Isuzu . Please talk me out of it.

^ Get it get it get it. ( so I quit thinking of giving the guy a call)
oh my god, ive been looking for one of those, too bad its so far away!
If I had a job and money I would so get this. They handled fantastic. I guy down here had one and blew away everything in his class (E stock) back then.
DO IT!! you know you want to.
Considering that it was built in 1989, my guess is that the suspension is worn and it needs new shocks, springs and bushings. I am not sure the money for the Lotus bits are worth it if you are pulling them anyway. Neat car though!

Price reduced to $1500 with o.b.o. Urgh! I really don't need another car. Here's a comparison: 89 Crx Si with 180,000 with many new parts or this I-Mark, stock with 89,000 miles. I bet parts are fun to find. Hey 81gtv6, get it so I'll stop thinking about it

One reason why I don't want to give up my '89 Si, my brother took care of most of the suspension stuff when he had it.
OMG! I learned to drive stick in a red one of those about 1990! I haven't seen one in YEARS. Yes, the Recaros were stock and I think Enkei wheels - it was turbo'd and was a freakin' rocket for it's day. If you're close and have the dough, jump on it!
I hear they're similar to 323s. My roommate wants that front end for his 323GTX.

Lotus + Isuzu = win. I'm just saying.
won the florida region SCCA E stock championship in one of these back in 91.
they do handle fantastic, if a little weak in the engine department...
never had any problems with reliability.

Are these FWD non-turbo's? Some big, round lights up front would look cool
I had my ass handed to me by one of those things back in the day.. lots of respect
In reply to Fletch1:
non turbo 16valve DOHC engine that was saddled with a decent amount of weight to push around.
only about 9 sec 0-60 if I remember correctly.

Thanks. I just found an article with some specs. It was around 9 seconds 0-60 and .82 skidpad. Pretty much what my Crx Si was tested at back in the day.
Ahh, but the factory turbo 1.5Ls felt a lot better than the NA models. Don't know how much quicker they actually were.
Having a learner's permit and a boost guage brewed some fun moments...

The only real article I can find. Less than 3500 of these exact models were sold.
