Keep in mind that the original SRT8 GC had center exhausts, which makes a tow hitch a problem. Not impossible, but you may back into your chrome tips a lot. It is rated at 3500lbs, which isn;t great for 420HP.

All of which would make me hesitate...for .0001 second. Have you been in one? Stable as a rock at 160mph, and the new ones are way better.

AS USUAL i would call that rating misleading. I think the only way that jeep would be worse than any other grand cherokee for towing is that an imprudent person would be able to hurt the transmission easier/faster than he would with less power. The cherokee + 3500 lbs probably isnt even close to as heavy as a loaded Sprinter with the same transmission. I would think for a smart person not trying to win a race while towing, the SRT would tow better in every way than the lesser versions.

I think about it from time to time. I made some questionable purchases throught the years. It would be awesome to have a clean slate, but I hate selling things due some potential buyer asshattery in the past.

With all the hours with work and studies/certs, I rarely have time to work on anything car related. And when I do find the time, I'm too tired or lack focus to work on it.

I'm taking a week off for my birthday to get a wrench back in my hand and make stuff go vroom again . . . .

We're going to face that reality in a few years. Our vehicles are all roughly the same age, and they'll likely be due for replacement at the same time. Replacing the minivan with another one will likely be a no-brainer, the other two choices will be more interesting.

As long as you can keep the Javelin in the family, I'd say go for it!

I'd sell the Javelin and see how this job/house(edit - garage) thing plays out.
The cars my wife doesn't like are the ones that look like crap and leak stuff. It doesn't matter if its a Javelin or Subaru. It must be a girl thing.
