I'm looking to get a replacement bed for my 2007 Tundra, any "secret" places to look online or otherwise?

Car-part.com

find one in the south and ship it or find a local guy who does this.  There is a guy in Minnesota who advertises on Craigslist that brings trailer loads of beds from Texas up here.  He has a hookup at a junkyard down there.

Not sure what years interchange , but the companies that build service beds and stake beds end up with a lot of almost new beds,

That's exactly the kind of thing I'm looking for. At $2-3k I wonder what the cost of having my current bed fixed would be.

Fixed properly, or plastered up to hide the horror?  The only use your old bed has now is to show you the rust areas so you can figure out how to get in and wash/treat that area so the new one stays decent.

Fixed up properly, my bed sides are perfect besides some small dents. The bed of it has two spots that have rusted right behind the wheel wells. I am assuming the plastic liner it came with is the culprit there. Is it out of line to think I could get the bed taken care of for 2-3K? My thinking here is that I would have a "like new" bed instead of a less used one.

The issue with rust is that what's visible is often the tip of the iceberg.  I'm from New England and this is generally the issue with any used truck up here. Plastic bed liners are great for making the bed look nice, but horror often lies beneath!

Doesn't hurt to get a quote though.

Bedsides run $600-$1200 each depending on vehicle. That's just for the part.

Locally, we've got a trailer place that sells new aluminum flat beds with headache racks for around $3500.  https://www.toolshedofamerica.com/parts/truck-beds

If I lived in the rust belt (as I do) I wouldn't waste my money on OEM steel junk beds.

I have been trying to find a new bed side for my 2008 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD LT1 4x4 Crew Cab with a 6.6 ft. box without much luck.  Do you have a contact for someone who sells them?
