I saw a story on these a while back and was wondering if these actually exist on FWD cars yet...

RevoKnuckle never made it to the US. It was only used on the Europe-only 2nd. gen. Focus RS, and who knows if Ford will make a 3rd. gen. Focus RS (or if they'll sell it in the US if they do).

The article does say the GM Hi-Per strut has been used on the turbo Regal GS and top-level LaCrosse.

Looks a lot like Toyota's Superstrut from the late '90s.

"Toyota coined the term Super Strut for a suspension with extra capability used on a few hot Celicas sold in the late 1990s (but not imported to the U.S.)."

That was an interesting read. Thanks for posting.

While torque steer has always been one of the reasons I shun front drive cars, I have never given much thought to where it actually comes from or how to minimize it. The article goes a ways towards clarifying.

It was also used on AE111 2-doors (again, not imported into the US). Well known for being a parts-sourcing nightmare.
