I just finished reading the latest installment in the Rotary Miata project. I was horrified by the paint; the shop got the color wrong and the overspray is beyond words. Why did you guys pay the shop and accept the car? It seems like you shouldn't have to pay for a car that's painted the wrong color... What if they had "accidentally" painted it yellow; would you still have accepted it? I wouldn't have wanted to pay for a car that was painted the wrong color...but if an experienced car magazine is forced to pay for this type of work, what hope do the rest of us have?
