Anyone familiar with Saturns, specifically the window motors? Need to replace the drivers door window motor on a '95 and wondered what years are compatible, and are they different on the rear doors. I'd rather put on a rear door motor if it will work since I figure they have less use on them.

Thanks!

You probably don't want to do that since the rear windows only roll down half way. The rear motor probably does not spin enough to roll the drivers window all the way down. (tried this with a crank window on an 98 SL

Hmmm. Noticed that and wondered if it was a limit on the motor or a stop on the window. I'm hitting a salvage yard tomorrow, hoping I can find what I need either way.

All years S series should work (I'm assuming thats what it is, did they make any others in the 90s?) L series may work as well.

L series is a malibu IIRC, but either way, I am pretty sure the motors are different.

All motors should be the same between SL, SW and SC. I am glad that our SL has manual windows.
